Ladies who lunch

For lunch with my friend, I kept things stream-lined and fancy-free. It was all about enjoying a delicious meal, chatting about everything and gorging a wonderful dessert.

A few years back, I used to have at least two lunch dates with my friends per week. But somehow my workload increased (and those of my friends) and weekly lunches became less frequent. These days I’ll be very lucky if I can manage to lunch with a friend once a month. I guess it just makes them more special.
