Blame the class!

My outfit for tonight’s class. I thought emerald green would make a good color combo with dark grays. It came out as too dark and heavy visually or maybe the classroom’s fluorescent lighting is to blame.

I am running out of ideas. The problem is I own only two pairs of slacks (which look good on me): one black and one gray. The rest of my pants are all either in twill or denim.  I think I have to wear skirt suits or dresses with blazers. Oh, well!
