Gray cowlneck

I fell in love with the soft feel of this sweater. Then I decided to toughen it up a bit!

Velvet leggings

Velvet is The fabric this winter. I dug out my old velvet leggings and paired it with a tunic and vest. felt pretty trendy but in a very low-key way!

Smoke and berries

Some colors nicely complement each other, gray and burgundy are two of these.
I love wearing head to toe burgundy both muting the effect with a nice neutral gray:

Men's wear inspired

Mixing a few elements of classic men's wear style like striped shirt, velvet vest and brogue shoes, into a nice layered look:

Light layers

A light trench coat, a light long vest... transitional weather, bring your worse!!!

Purple perfect

A tunic, leggings and jacket combo, nothing ground breaking here... But make everything in purple and I felt pretty outstanding!

Light blues and paisley

A ladies' only night involving a great dinner and a little lady's birthday celebration. The cake was pink. My pastle blues and accents of pink and orange was girly enough, wasn't it?!

Mixing camel and red

It's a classic color mix but I gave it a modern twist by wearing a peplum knit jacket... I adore this shade of scarlet and camel gave it the perfect background to shine!

Fifthy shades of gray

Seriously, why not?! Although my sister commented along the line of "none of your grays go together", I was still happy! Maybe that little neon yellow kept my gray mood at bay!

Hikes and teas

An outfit that goes from a hike around the lake to the evening tea at a friend's house? Well, not that great but it was comfy for a very cold weather!

Black leather and fur

When you know the night is going to be cold it's better to layer on and hope for the best.
I was going for a bit of boho spirit but my black leather leggings and boots had other ideas!

Going for contrasting colors  which causes maximum drama for a quite dinner! yeah, that's me, have to stir up trouble!

No easy feat finding a sweaterdress that is both flattering and layer-able. As you can guess, I'm very proud of myself!

A pretty cozy outfit for our town tree lighting ceremony but I wasn't expecting the thunderstorm and shower that followed it!

One additional thing to give Thanks for this year: I didn't have to make the turkey!

Mall outfit

Want to spend a whole day at the mall and get a head start on your holiday shopping?
Make sure your clothes are warm enough and your shoes comfy enough... it might take a full  hours!

This mix looked a bit artful to me so I wore it to visit the museum. I was happy with my outfit but my feet were not!

I get lots of compliments whenever I wear this sequin bomber jacket. If only they knew where I bought it!!!

Don't underestimate the power of a classic leather jacket to elevate a tunic and jeggings outfit. If your jacket is as soft and buttery as mine, you would be on cloud nine!

Green goodness

My green cowl neck sweater is as old as my green suede Furla bag. Despite their age both have the ability to make an outfit... what more can I ask?1

Cranberries and clouds

I think I've perfected the art of dressing for late night super market runs: dressing as though you are wearing your lounge clothes, add something cozy because those isles are freezing, add something structured and polished because you don't want to look like total slob and a dash of lipstick!

Wrap and pizza

Late night pizza binge requires comfortable and cozy clothing. I assure you of the comfort of my new wrap top!

Pipped dress

I fell in love with the pattern and details of this dress as soon as I saw it. The pipping is in red but most of the flowers and embroidery in orange. So I made an amalgam!

Salmon and tan

a low contrast look for a low key day... good for window shopping... I'm putting ahold on shopping for the near future!

Duster cardigan

I love a long cardigan even one that is as thin as a T-shirt. There is something empowering in that flowing hemline!

For the love of suede

Mixing neutral shades so I can wear my beige suede jacket. Not a big sacrifice since the jacket is the softest coziest thing ever!

Suede mini skirt

The addiction to suede mini skirts is a hard habit to break. Harder still is remembering to wear all these mini skirts with booties and bare legs when the weather is the right temperature for such a combo!

Blue politics

A not too subtle nod to my favorite political party... no need to elaborate we all suffered this week.

Double Plaid

What is Fall without plaid? It would lack something like a hot chocolate without marshmallows.
