So, we left the city going to find a different landscape and 8 hours later got back home, going from the cacti and flats of Phoenix to rainy Prescott with its birch and maple trees to Jerome up in the mountains while passing through a pine forest... Amazing how many climate changes you can experience by driving only 100 miles north of Phoenix.
