Burgundy and blush

This is my favorite color combo. This time I styled my linen dress with blush accessories:

Quick absence

A short trip and a little head cold made me take a little break from blogging!

Golds and green

Gold make me feel better, no matter the cause or the time. Mixing it with a little restful green is always good.

Darling dress

I think of this dress as my "good luck" dress. I debut it for a celebration dinner, enjoying good food, lovely company and a darling dress.

Fall lace

Life is good when you can wear a moto jacket, even if it's a lace one. I've missed my jackets!!!

I'm positively in love with this skirt, using every using every opportunity to wear it.

Silver concert

attending my all time favorite pop singer's concert in a silvery outfit. I couldn't get enough of his voice, I couldn't get enough of this dress.
Jus check the back and the side slits... and the front.... Love love love!

In the mood for Fall

Mixing greens and tans again... so in the mood for Fall but our weather is not cooperating. Well at least I have control over my wardrobe!

Jogger and bomber

With so much activity each day, I'm positively exhausted every night and in no mood to dress up for dinner. Thank goodness for comfy joggers and shiny bomber jackets and also for cute little Bistros!

Too much shopping? Yes, there is such a thing when you get tired of shopping... I never thought I get to my limit but this month proved me otherwise.
Shopping or not, dressing up is always fun!

A very comfortable outfit for a late night pizza dinner. Loose and stretchy it was perfect for indulging on delicious pizza.

Carnberry colors

My favorite fall color is cranberry or burgundy. When there is a chance to wear it head to toe who am I to resist?!

Floral navy

I had a totally different outfit planned but an accident with hair spray made me switched outfits last minutes. In retrospect, it was very fortunate since we ended up gambling the night away!

Heading out for a picnic by the river? Don't forget your pretty accessories... I was very much in mood for silver.

The first layer outfit is like a celebration. I enjoyed mixing tans and greens.

Pumpkin outfit

In addition to pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin colored outfits are a staple of Fall.

Gold and cobalt

Brightening up some boring blues with gold. Not that I don't like blues but I had a suspicion I was becoming too depressed. Gold always picks me up!

White comfort

I don't adhere to silly rules like "no white after Labor day". I like white outfits and after 48 hours of plane rides and transit delays, I needed something comfortable and clean.

Fall greens

Fall colors without fall's temperature? Yeah, we have to be creative!
Combination of golds and greens represents early Fall, doesn't it?

Fall trend: Cat print

I think the only way I've ever worn this leopard print blouse is with white jeans or white pants.
And I mostly wear it in Fall despite it being a light silk. Why?!!

Airport outfit

Over the years I have formulated my most comfortable outfit for long flights:
A slim (and stretchy) pair of jeans in a dark color, a loose knit top, a long duster or cardigan and a colorful scarf to brighten up all the dark neutrals.
After trying many variation of "carry on luggage" from backpack to tote bag to a rolling carry-on , I have finally settled on the classic boarding bag. Mine is by Samsonite, classic indeed. But the size is perfect, the black canvas damage proof and it is roomy enough for all my essentials including my flight pillow! I even fit my purse in this boarding bag.
Another necessity? Large but not too dark sunglasses. You really don't want to show your smudged eyeliner to other passengers.
As for shoes, a pair of leather flats or short block heels or even short wedges work great. Easy to slide off and on for security checks, comfortable to walk in and they look polished.
