White Dress (II)

Which sane person would drive two hours in traffic to go somewhere hot (a whole 20 degree hotter than our city) to walk under scorching sun for a couple of hours, visits the same store that are found in her local mall and then drive back in traffic for another two hours? That’s the type of adventure I pursue (over the weekend)! On the positive side, this outfit was light and cool and very accommodating…

Cool Stripes

Today was a bit chilly and I just had to layer up! This jacket is a darker blue with thinner white stripes in person.

Why have I become so diligent in my weblog posting? It has to be the reverse psychology at work. I have to use all my writing energy for my paper, instead I am using it up on style posts. Anything to escape from science!

Safari Red

For the first outing of this dress, I went with a bit of safari theme. Safari and tribal style is not my strong point as you can guess! I don’t even dream of traveling in Africa… too hot for me!

Shorts

I’ve been trying to wear shorts more. It comes from the consideration that past a certain age, you better not wear them…. and I’m getting dangerously close to that age! A couple of outfits created with that assumption in mind:

Inspiration: polka dot shorts

I’m looking for ways to wear my polka dot shorts without looking like a kindergartner. So far, I found out that thin slouchy sweaters and silk tops are good matches for these shorts. Also I can add a blazer or jacket to dress it up. As for colors, I’m still drawing blanks. What can I pair my polka dotted navy shorts with aside from white and red and navy?

Neon Belts

I need them and I need them now! Any color is good, neon green, orange, hot pink, yellow… I’m gonna wear them with my red dress, with white shorts, with white dress, with… almost everything! Gotta have them!
