kaleidoscope dress

Despite wearing the coolest breeziest cotton dresses, I still had to seek shelter (with a big ice tea) in a coffee shop. I mean 119+°F is no joke!

Tassel belt

Oh, look! This old dress of mine is trendy with its tassel belt. Personally, I think this dress is great... It's the lightest chambray and perfect for a night stroll in 110°F.
...and when it's that hot, I don't need heavy shoes or heavy bags... just the minimum.

Art inspiration

A meeting about Art deserves a pretty outfit inspired by Arts, like this black ink stroked silk tee. Since it was above 105°F, shorts have to be added in the mix. All in all, cool and comfy.
...and if the meeting lengthened into a lunch meeting and then a coffee meeting, so much the better!

Shopping mission

For a few hours of serious shopping and walking you need comfortable clothes that are easy to take off when hitting the Fitting Rooms. ... oh, don't forget comfortable walkable shoes!

A pretty breezy and professional outfit for keeping appointments and running around town... If I was in a hurry, no one would know from my outfit!

The skies are blue, so is my mood... This heat is getting to me! For a quick lunch date I put together the airiest look I could. A minimalist success!

I love the lattice neckline of this top. It makes a simple old tee into something special and unique. Even the novelty of a pair of cropped jeans can't distract from its prettiness!

Graduation dinner party

Celebrating a friend's graduation in a beautiful mansion-turned-restaurant! Beautiful venue, great food, darling friends and amazing view...and a comfortable dress to go with it!

Happy dress

This dress and the light color scheme was great for a relaxing evening of strolling around the downtown and having a BBQ dinner. Ah, I have a strong suspicious the happiness came from BBQ... anyway...

Summer shorts

Wearing white shorts for me is the formal admission to summer. This tunic looked great with a little side knot over my fave pair of 5" shorts. As to complete my happiness, I was able to find several items I have been searching for, like a tiny little speaker for my MP3 player!

When it's as hot as Hades at night and you have lost all of your cool and composure 20ºFs ago but still want to pretend to be a pretty sharp gal:

Mixing nude shades

What color do you wear on an awfully hot day? I was debating between white and nude and finally gave the nude outfit a try. I can always go back to my white dresses!

Darling dress

From the moment I have seen this dress I've been in love with it. every time I wear it, I feel special! This time I matched it with neutrals, just to let it take the center stage!

Cooling colors

The best way to survive 112°F  is wearing the simplest most basic of dresses: a cotton shirtdress. And if you might walk around for 4-5 hours, definitely wear flats!

Color mix

Good thing this top goes with almost any pants, even these chinos. A comfortable and rushed outfit to get some emergency cat food! My cats don't like any delay in their dinner routine!

White on white

this little lacy and embroidery top is so wonderfully textural. Every time I decide to wear it, I keep petting it! White on white on white... best thing for summer!

Daisy top

I was so glad I found this daisy top in my size and on sale! I have been stalking it on the website from the moment it came online!
Annnd since I am a little girl at heart, as soon as I got it, I had to wear it!

Citron at the pool

Playing by the pool in citrus yellows... If that doesn't say summer I don't know what does!
Great thing about this pair of skorts: you can pair them with almost any color and they go!

White textures

Running errands in a cool summery look. White on white never gets old but adding a bit of interesting texture is always good.

Hot days require cool dresses, like this white window-paned one, matched with minimal accessories.

Dark flowers

Some outfits give the illusion of pulled-together and making-an-effort while being much comfier than yoga pants and tees. This pair of linen wide leg crops and this floral woven tee make such a pairing!

Mixing peach and blush

You know that moment when two pieces of clothes land beside each other on the floor of your closet randomly? That's what I call "Kismet". Like how these patterned shorts ended up with this silk Henley which I never thought to match.
...and that's why I rarely clean my closet, just to encourage these type of "random" stuff happening!!!

Ruffled tops, cropped pants

When your friend tells you that the restaurant you are going to has amazing food, you need to pay more attention and not wear a waist hugging pair of pants! This pair of cropped silk pants left no room for expansion and nearly an hour of walking afterward didn't help. That's how good the food was!
Otherwise this outfit was perfect!

The pattern on the pants is of palm trees, in case you are curious!

Golden outfit

On the second week of wearing anything but blue, we are here with a full golden outfit. I agree, it's a bit too much. However we were in desperate need of some icecream and it was after 10:00 pm. So I just piled up any thing in gold/mustard hue and headed out!

Dress and sneakers

This youthful minidress deserved a youthful outfit. I decided to pair it with sneakers, a first for me. I admit to feeling weird the whole time, thinking my feet are too big! How do so many people match skirts and sneaker without a second thought?!

Wearing Green

We have to appreciate our cool nights while we still can. My way? Wearing these printed chinos!
And of course I had to go all green!

Emerald and gold

A fitted dress in dark emerald looks pretty with gold, doesn't it? I liked to believe so and my friends kindly agreed with me! Happy outfit here!
