Shoes, glorious shoes!

Did I say I’m gonna have a new post every day? Oops, I meant every once in a while!
Anyway, what is it with wearing flip flaps in winter? Or for that matter, anywhere that is not beach or pool side? I so hate that cleesh clash sound coming from dragging your feet.
Doesn’t matter how fancy your flip flap is, how bejeweled or what name brand, truth is flip flaps are not for school, mall or -god forbid- office! They change the way you walk, affect your posture and that sound coming from your feet is ugly! Also they cause lots of harm to your toes and bones.
There are a lot of comfy substitute you can choose from:
Sneakers like Sketchers and Puma and Keds and…
Flats, very stylish and comfy with great colors and patterns so you can show your individuality,
or even Converses for that uber cool student look and they come in lots of colors and even fancy finishes like metallic and sequins.
So really there is no excuse for wearing ugly old and faded flip flaps!
Be good to yourself and your feet too!

It is serious! You need this!

Hey people,
It is 61 degree outside (even if it is sunny California) and the middle of winter which means NOT wearing mini dresses with bare legs and flats!
Do you really want us to believe you are not shivering in this chilly windy weather?!
You seriously need this weblog!

So here is why I’m starting this weblog:
- To tell you about the best and worse outfits I see around,
- To give you some tips on dressing,
- And finally to take advantage of my addiction to fashion magazines and point out some trends which can work in real life!
Where the name came from? If having a couple of degrees in science and engineering (and the fact that I’ve spend almost one third of my life in college and university environment) don’t make me a geek, my love for Sci Fi and Fantasy novels will definitely qualifies me for the title!

I do my best to have a little post every day so come over often.
